He has gotten so big. It happens every time!

Tell us how you really feel....
If possible, his hair has gotten even crazier.

I’ll put a few more up over on Facebook (’cause I’m shameless that way

I had a great session with Bill last weekend. He brought along 2 fabulous props.
What makes a prop fabulous? It’s got to be more than just something you hold onto — it’s got to tell me something about you!
This prop for example:

Finally! Someone remembered their Guitar!!
This prop makes me think creativity! Sensitivity! um, musicality?!

And coolness. Definitely coolness.
And this prop?

Furry props rock!
This prop can come back and visit anytime! This is Cam and he is a love. This is a prop that speaks volumes about devotion.

Cam the Wonder Dog!
And also the power of a treat

I hope you’ll take a look around you before you head to our next session and bring along something that speaks about you.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hey gang!
Apparently my blog picked up a virus recently. I don’t know much about these things, but Mark figured it out and the site is clean now. It doesn’t look like the virus was one that would infect any of you, it was just redirecting visitors to annoying Nursing School and Viagra sites.
I hope that none of you were harmed or alarmed and that you will let me know if you notice anything amiss here on the site.
Thank you!

Hey Hiya! Look at the cutie patootie I got to play with last weekend:

He is such a hoot!
He just had a birthday.

Go ahead -- Guess how old he is!

I'll give you another hint...

He was really into his cake smash
You’ve never seen a baby more caked with cake. It was truly amazing. He ate as much as he possibly could and wore the rest!
Alas, all good things must come to an end. And diaper wipes weren’t going to cut it.

Do you mind?
I’ll put one or two more up on the official Walk in the Park Facebook page
if you can’t get enough of this sweet boy!
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Gang! I just wanted to give you all a small “heads up” that I am old and frail and was brought down this week by a snowball.
And not just any snowball…

not the actual snowball in question
a snowball thrown by my 5 year old.
I still love him, no hard feelings.

how could I hold a grudge??
But for now I’m quite gimpy and unable to drive. So for the near future I will be stuck in the studio for portrait sessions. I expect this to be resolved in time for Spring Blooms at the arboretum, but I will keep you posted.

the actual bum knee
Thanks!!

After several tries, I finally got to shoot one of my favorite 2 year-olds last weekend!

Such a big kid!
The first time I met this handsome boy he had considerably less hair, but almost as much personality

He was a charmer, even then
I just love a good Then & Now, don’t you?

Then
&

Now
I’m going to put a few more up on Facebook, if you just can’t get enough of this cutie!

Yummy Dimpled Hands
Oh. My. Word.

Worried Eyebrows
Miss Carsyn braved the freezing temperatures to come to the studio for her 3 month pictures last weekend. I can’t believe how big she’s gotten!
And Mom brought along some of the cutest hats!

Flower Power
And this carved pot? And this yarn thingy? I need these.

{sigh}
I need these bad. Sadly they remembered to take them home. How come I’m the only one forgets my props all over town?
But as cool as the props are, it’s really the pretty baby that steals the show. I’m already looking forward to our next session!

Cutest Hat Hair Ever

Look at this little sweet pea–

What a little bundle of Sweetness!
She is going to grow up to be one heck of a cool, well-read chickie.

bookworm
Plus, she looks darn good in a chicken hat.

In the studio
Reggie was my senior session over the weekend. As seems to be the case with most senior boys, I think I had more fun than he did. He was such a great sport though, I think that I will forgive him for leaving his guitar at home.

So cool, I hardly miss the guitar!

He even makes the field look edgy!

Love this one!
Guitar or not, he still looks like a rock star — don’t you think?!
